New 'Supergirl' Promo Lands

CBS have released a brand new promo for their upcoming 'Supergirl' TV show. The DC Comics adaptation stars Melissa Benoist in the lead role and focuses on Supergirl taking on responsibility for protecting Earth after Superman suddenly disappears. The series is set to broaden the scope of DC heroes on television alongside The CW's 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' plus Batman prequel series 'Gotham' on FOX. The new promo details Supergirl's story and the villain she will face in the pilot episode, Vartox.
