We've got a new piece of Gotham casting news for you guys. The folks over at EW have reported that “The Goldbergs” star Natalie Alyn Lind will join season 2 of the hit FOX show as Silver St. Cloud. The character debuted in the way back in the 70's and throughout her comic book history has enjoyed an on-again, off-again relationship with Batman. She was a popular addition to Batman lore and is one of the few women to have caused the dark knight to make a choice between his future as the protector of Gotham Cuty or enjoying a normal happy life. Bruce Wayne chose the route of vigilant hero in the end of course. The 15 year old Lind will play a younger version of the character but it will be interesting to see how Silver St Cloud will interact with a young Bruce Wayne in the show. The “Gotham” character descrition is as follows:
“an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante,”
It's unclear how Bruce Wayne will progress in this season but with Lucious Fox now a series regular and the addition of Silver St Cloud it looks as though there will be a large focus on the support network Bruce has whilst growing up. How they helped in his pursuit for justice could be a really intriguing plot point even though he's still a ways off suiting up as the caped crusader anytime soon!
'Gotham' Season 2 will premier later this year and we'll keep you updated on all the developments right here at Cape and Cowl.
