Up-Close Batman Photos from "Suicide Squad" set

Detailed look at the new Batsuit

By Alex Burns

There has been so much action from the set of Suicide Squad, filming in Toronto has been extensive and the scale of the shoot has allowed a lot of people to grab some excellent footage and photos of the filming taking place. We already had some footage of Batman perched atop the Joker's car but now we've got some up-close images that really show off the Batsuit. Despite being a stunt suit this thing is a seriously detailed get-up and looks to be the most flexible Batsuit we've seen on screen yet. Alright lets get a look at these shots make sure you click to enlarge!

Check that out! There's been a lot said about how the costume is based off "The Dark Knight Returns" costume, there's elements of that for sure but look again, the lean physique, cowl and utility belt are definitely taken from comic artist Jim Lee's Batman, perfect balance and absolutely true to the comic!

An absolute must for any would-be caped crusader is access to a wide array of hi-tech gadgetry, well check that off your list as in this shot we can see Batman using a bat-gadget to blow the roof off the Joker's car!

Alright, this is kind of a big deal. Batman CAN turn his head people! Fear not, peripheral vision has not been compromised, he can fight injustice on all sides now!

Although Ben Affleck and Jared Leto were not present on set it looks as though Margot Robbie was. Yeah we see you there Harley Quinn...

That's all for today guys, keep it locked here at Cape and Cowl for even more from "Suicide Squad" the film is set for release August 5th 2016.
